So yesterday I was sitting in front of the Tv watching some Sunday afternoon football and enjoy some relaxing time when I got this urge to draw or paint. I didn't want to miss the end of the game so I decided to do another drawing on my Ipod touch. Eventually I got so engrossed in my painting that I missed the most pivotal point in the game and didn't realize it till halfway through the post game show. Well at least I had a little fun and this is was the end result. Enjoy!!

Ringling 100 Submission

So a few of my buddies decided to put together a book of 100 juried images from Ringling College Artists past and present. The theme to the artwork was "Waking the Giants". I did a little brainstorming and this is the painting that came of it. Hope you Enjoy!!

Polo Player Sketch

So I recently attended my first polo match and man what a thrill that was! I took my sketch book but everything was moving so fast I just had to rely on the camera to slow the action down. Afterward I flipped through all the photos I shot and really liked some so I decided to finish my initial thought and sketch them. Enjoy!

Ipod Touch Sketch
So my dad recently gave me an Ipod touch which is quite the little device. I downloaded an app that allowed me to sketch and I managed to make this painting. I am quite surprised how much fun it was and plan to use it again in the future. Enjoy!

Virginia Landscape

It has been a good length of time since I last posted. I have since relocated to Virginia in search of any promising prospects for art related employment. I found some time to make it out landscape painting with my lady and this is the result. It was quite nice to return to the quiet of producing artwork. I enjoy the wide range of colors this area of the country has to offer, much different than florida. Well I hope all are doing well from the class of 09'. Please leave comments, I do miss the art community we had at Ringling.

Animatic-Thinking/deciding
This is a short animatic about a boy who plays a carnival game and is forced to make a decision. I boarded the sequence out intially, but while in production there were a few minor changes to help flush it out. Enjoy

Senior Portrait

Looking at the dates tells me I have been very inactive for quite a while. I will try and not let this happen often. The semester is going well as I wrap up my thesis project and continue the job search. The Senior Show opens on May 1 on campus. If you are in the area feel free to come. On the poster advertising the show you will see this image as my Senior Portrait. Enjoy!

Sequential illustration

The last project in my illustration class required was to design and compose a story with sequential images. I chose "The Best Game" an interesting story of how a man ends up bored with hunting and finds the best game. Something that hunts back. Its a fantastic story and fun to read. This is my first attempt at sequential and I really enjoyed it. I would like to do more of this kind of work.
